After Work

i wish that i could blog on the way home from work - i come up with great little snippets that i always want to record and then always lose them by the time i sit down at home - probably for the best though, as that would be more dangerous than texting while driving! something i never do..

anyway, im home now and about to go tidy up the house but first - i just got three new books from the library today! (i think i might nominate the library for best invention ever) - a new book about beauty in the history of art, my life in france by julia childs (talk about advanced cooking!) and a novel called Anonymous Lawyer thats for Bryan but that i might steal or request that he read out loud to me at night..
I interviewed for a job at an art library once - it was the perfect job i thought (scheduling for the other librarians, leniant and fun dress code, and helping undergrad art students with their research). boy did i ever botch that interview. def one of my worst ever - i wish i had more character and i was one of those people that knew it was a lost cause, and did something really stupid and memorable in the middle of it and then left with dignity. nope - not me! i just sank and sank, until mercessly, they called it short.
Phew - what a memory! but i guess we all have those great awesome interview moments of terror.
ok - off to clean, then clean myself, then hop into a book and dinner.
